I've been away more or less four years, with the previous entry here almost seven. I might be checking back more often in the future, but you never know. We'll see if I get up to doing some digital painting :).

My previous journal entry has been online for over a year now. A year! During the last year, many things have changed in my life, yet in other aspects, everything is as it was. Which one is better, don't know. OK, at least I've been very lazy about dA, and photography in general. The reason for that is that I keep on thinking about the nature of art, the place of photography in art, and more specifically, the place of photography in my life. What I've found out doesn't make me content. I see things beautiful enough to make me hurt, but capturing them doesn't fulfill my ambitions. Why do you take photographs? On what? What does it give you?

Listening: Lot's of things live, like NIN from DVD and Wagner at the local opera Mood: Busy, wondering about life I've had an unbelievable urge to do things. I had about 2000 photos lined up, waiting for me to go them through. Now I've got them sorted out somehow, and I'm probably going to get on an updating spree.
